To the surprise of many, Juventus did not part ways with Dusan Vlahovic during the summer transfer window earlier this year. There was no singular reason for that, and it resulted in the 25-year-old Vlahovic and his league-high €12 million net salary remaining on Juve’s books for the final year of his contract.
So now, as we are a few months and a managerial change into the new campaign, Juventus CEO Damien Comolli has thrown it out there that the club will discuss a potential contract extension with
Vlahovic after the completion of the 2025-26 season. That is probably not something any of us expected over the summertime when most Juve supporters thought Vlahovic’s days in bianconero were numbered.
Yet, here we are.
And with a new manager and some inspiring form of late, it could very well be the change needed to see Vlahovic actually have a future in Turin beyond the end of his current contract.
So, with it being an international break, we discuss.
