While we wait for the complete 2025-26 NBA schedule to be released, littles bits and pieces continue to come out. We already know the Spurs will open the regular season on October 22 against the Dallas Mavericks (for the third year and second straight in Dallas, sarcastic yay) and visit the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas. Now, we also know when their NBA Emirates Cup (or “in-season tournament”) games will be.
Placed in Group C (a.k.a. the Group of Death, with three very-likely and two quite-possible playoff teams), the Spurs will host the Houston Rockets on November 7 and the Golden State Warriors at home on November 14. Both games will be nationally televised streamed on Amazon Prime. For their road games, the Spurs will visit the Portland Trail Blazers on November 26 and the Denver Nuggets on November 28.
The winner of the group will advance to to face the other five winners as well as two wildcard teams. The quarterfinals will take place on December 9-10, and semifinals and finals will take place in Las Vegas on December 13 and 16, respectively. What wild new courts and uniforms will we see this year?
