On Monday, we kicked off my favorite annual tradition ‘round these parts: the Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List, in which we, as a collective, will rank the top 44 prospects in the San Francisco Giants organization.
The introductory post served not just to lay out the rules and regulations, but also to nominate the first group of names for us to vote on. I think we all know who is going to earn the coveted title of No. 1 prospect now that Bryce Eldridge has moved on to higher-paying
pastures, but we still need to vote! It’s that time of year, after all, and we respect the democratic process around here.
Voting will take place in the comment section this year. I will leave a list of the players to vote on in the comments, and you can click the “rec” button on the name you wish to cast your vote for. And while you’re in the comment section, stump and debate!
