Surprise, surprise: the Golden State Warriors just blew another lead to lose another heartbreaker of a game, a disasterclass of epic proportions. Truth be told, however, with how they’ve been playing the past couple of seasons, we should all have seen this coming.
To add insult to injury, the Warriors will have to fly to Phoenix right away for their second night of a back-to-back slate against the Suns. The immediate question following that situation: Will the Warriors’ 38-year-old superstar play
on that back end of the slate?
Steph Curry himself provided that answer — and it didn’t bring hopes up that the Warriors could rebound from the loss.
Steph Curry said he "probably" won’t play tomorrow in Phoenix in the Warriors’ first back-to-back of the season. Plans to talk to training staff, but clear they are easing him into the season.

This decision was made with the intention of easing Curry into the season and hopefully prolonging his ability to play meaningful minutes as the season progresses. However, starting the season 0-2 — and in all likelihood, 0-3 after tomorrow night — means that anything of meaning from this season is quickly starting to slip from the team’s grasp.
