What is the story about?

CMLL women’s world champion Persephone is in need of a doctor, so Dr. Britt Baker DMD is coming to Arena Mexico.

Persesphone teased the appearance in a promo backstage, then she made it perfectly clear when doing the DMD hand signal. Perse mocked fans that cry and complain about how she wins matches and defends her title. The champ is bringing in Baker as a surprise for CMLL’s show on Friday, October 16.

The relationship between Baker and Persephone was solidified when the DMD made her long-awaited return to AEW to help the luchadora win the TBS title at All In in London, England. It’s not clear yet if Baker will be manager or if she will wrestle in a tag team bout with Persephone. In the case of a world title defense, Hera is a potential candidate to be challenger.

Hera & Olympia defeated Persephone & Reyna Isis in tag team action on Friday night (Oct. 9, 2026). Hera pinned Perse off a flying splash in the first fall for bragging rights. After the score was evened, Olympia press slammed Isis to win the match in the third fall.
