- Injury Report: DL Tim Keenan is out after suffering what is believed to be a high ankle sprain. He has undergone tightrope surgery and is hopeful for a return by the Georgia game. Jam Miller is out after separating a collarbone. Jaeden Roberts has been cleared to play after going through concussion protocol. He missed a good portion of fall camp. It is highly doubtful he starts.
- FSU Coach: Mike Norvell is 33-27 over 5 seasons with the ‘Noles and only 1-1 in bowl games.
- Series Record: Alabama is 3-1-1 all-time against FSU. Their last meeting was a 24-7 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game win by the Crimson Tide to kickoff the 2017 National Champion campaign. The sole loss came in Nick Saban’s first season – an ugly 21-14 defeat played in Jacksonville. The other three wins are credited to Paul W. “Bear” Bryant.
