The Wisconsin Badgers will play the No. 19 Michigan Wolverines at 11:00 a.m. CT on October 4th on FOX, they announced on Monday.
After an ugly 27-10 loss to the Maryland Terrapins in Week 4, the Badgers
have a bye week, giving them an extra week to prepare for a big road matchup in Week 6 against Michigan.
It will be Wisconsin’s third straight 11:00 a.m. kick. They had one in Week 3 against Alabama, the same in Week 4 versus Maryland, and now an early kick once again in Ann Arbor.
They’ll be facing a Michigan team that has started the season 3-1 after a 30-27 win on the road over the Nebraska Cornhuskers this past weekend. Michigan has handed the keys to true freshman five-star recruit Bryce Underwood, who has impressed through the first four weeks of the season.
Michigan’s lone loss has come at the hands of the then-No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners on the road. While the Badgers will have an extra week to prepare, they won’t have an advantage, as the Wolverines also have a bye week in Week 5.
Wisconsin’s latest loss was arguably the program’s worst since its home loss to Illinois in 2022, which saw Paul Chryst fired one day later. Now, they have much to figure out with a tough path to victories for the remainder of the season, starting in Ann Arbor in Week 6.
Wisconsin has a brutal October, facing No. 19 Michigan, Iowa, No. 1 Ohio State, and No. 6 Oregon in consecutive weeks.
