With basketball season officially in the books and most eyes locked on the transfer portal, I actually got outside and took in some real, live sports action this week. Honestly, it was a nice change of pace.
First stop was football practice. Big shoutout to Coach Will Stein for welcoming us out and letting us walk around and grab some shots. Spring practice is always an exciting time, with competition at every position and a lot of young guys trying to make their mark heading into fall. It was great
to see the energy on the field and get a feel for where this team is heading.
The one major takeaway from the practice was the new energy I hadn’t felt in a long time!

After that, I made a quick stop by Kentucky Proud Park to catch a little bit of the action, and the Cats did not disappoint. Kentucky took care of business against Louisville, and even though I only had a short window to shoot, I managed to grab a few photos worth sharing. Baseball at Kentucky Proud Park is always a good time, and this one had some extra juice with the rivalry on the line.
