There’s nothing better than an epic fight promo.
Irish boxing legend Katie Taylor competes for the final time against undefeated French challenger Flora Pili in the main event of Once Upon a Time next weekend (Sat., Sept. 5, 2026) inside Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.
Taylor will defend her WBA, WBO, IBF and Ring Magazine Super Lightweight titles, while the vacant WBC championship will also be on the line. A victory would allow Taylor to retire as an undisputed champion for the third time in her historic
career.
Six days before showtime, Taylor’s promoter, Matchroom Boxing, released the official fight promo narrated by BAFTA-winning Irish actor Barry Keoghan — and it’s an absolute must-watch, even if you don’t care much about the actual matchup.
“Most journeys begin at home. The rare ones end there too,” Keoghan narrates.

Taylor (25-1, 6 KOs) is riding a three-fight winning streak, which includes back-to-back victories over longtime rival Amanda Serrano.
Their first meeting in April 2022 became the first women’s boxing match to headline iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City (watch highlights). Their trilogy fight in July 2025 then headlined the first all-women’s boxing card ever held at the historic venue.
Taylor ultimately went 3-0 against Serrano, cementing one of the greatest rivalries in women’s boxing history.
The Olympic gold medalist has repeatedly spoken about wanting to fight inside Croke Park, Ireland’s largest sporting arena, throughout the final years of her career. The stadium is expected to welcome more than 80,000 fans for her final ring walk.
The last professional boxing event staged at Croke Park took place in 1972, when Muhammad Ali defeated Detroit Heavyweight Alvin “Blue” Lewis. More than five decades later, Taylor will finally bring boxing back to the historic venue for her swan song.
“This seems like the perfect way to end it — by becoming Undisputed Champion again in our national stadium, which has such a special place in Irish hearts,” Taylor said when the fight was announced. “I’m so grateful that it’s happening, and I can’t thank the people of this country enough for the support I have received over the years.
“People have travelled all around the world to follow my career, and I’m hoping I can repay some of that with a big performance on September 5.”
If she defeats Pili, Taylor will retire with a 26-1 record as a three-time undisputed champion after making her final ring walk in front of more than 80,000 supporters at the stadium she spent years dreaming about.
That is about as close to a fairytale ending as boxing allows.
