Barcelona received some very good news on Friday as tests ruled out any sort of injury for Raphinha after the captain departed the Brazil camp with a minor hamstring issue.
Europe’s top scorer will be available for next weekend’s La Liga match at home to Getafe, which kicks off a brutal stretch of games for Barça in October.
The Blaugrana play three road games in a row after Getafe, with Champions League trips away to Galatasaray and PSG and a tough league test against Real Betis in the middle.
Then
there’s the first El Clasico of the season against Real Madrid to finish an insane two-week stretch, and Hansi Flick will surely want Raphinha to feature in all those games.
It’s certainly worth wondering if the best strategy is to keep Raphinha out of the Getafe clash completely, even if the captain is completely healthy and looking to continue his record-breaking start to the season.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
Should Barcelona rest Raphinha against Getafe even after ruling out an injury?
