The Pittsburgh Steelers left Dublin a 3-1 team, and now they enter the bye week with a chance to get healthier ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Cleveland Browns. Considering the injuries Pittsburgh suffered in Ireland, the bye week came at the perfect time.
Both Jalen Ramsey and Calvin Austin left the game with injuries. Ramsey is dealing with a hamstring injury, and Austin suffered a shoulder injury that required him to go to a Dublin hospital. Per Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,
both are expected to miss multiple games.
“Steelers can use the bye,” Dulac says on X. “CB Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) and WR Calvin Austin III (shoulder) are expected to miss at least several games. Ramsey tried to return vs Vikings, but didn’t work out.”
Ramsey is one of the last players the Steelers can do without, as he has been their most reliable secondary member through the first four games. As for Austin, this should be the final straw for the Steelers in terms of making a move for a No. 2 wide receiver.
