Good morning, it’s Friday, January 16th. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 23-19 and play the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. They beat the 76ers on Wednesday in one of their best performances of the season.
Cleveland has the next two days off after this. They’ll be gearing up for their biggest game of the season against the Oklahoma City Thunder on MLK Day. The Cavs went 1-1 against the Thunder last season.
Today’s Game of the Day
- Minnesota Timberwolves vs Houston Rockets – 9:30 PM, ESPN, ESPN 2
The Wolves (27-14) are on the road against the Rockets (23-14). Houston has won six of their last 10
games, while the Wolves are on a two-game winning streak.
Anthony Edwards is having another All-NBA season, while Kevin Durant is still scoring at an elite rate. These are two physical teams that should make for a fantastic matchup on Friday night.
