It’s time for the best two words in the Division Series— Game Seven Five.
There are few things more exciting than a winner-take-all baseball game. One team will find itself playing for a chance to go to the World Series, while the other will join the majority of teams watching at home.
The Cubs forced Game 5 with a 6-0 win over Milwaukee on Thursday. Chicago struck early once again with a three-run homer by Ian Happ. Matt Boyd and four relievers kept the Brewers off the board for nine innings. Cubs manager
Craig Counsell said everybody but Boyd will be available to pitch tonight. Drew Pomeranz will take the ball first.
The Brewers must be happy to be back in Milwaukee. The home team has won all four games this series, and the Brew Crew won the first two contests by a combined 16-6. The offense should benefit from the friendly confines home conditions, but they seemed to press after facing early deficits in Chicago.
Trevor Megill will start a bullpen game for Milwaukee.
