Contrary to reports earlier this week, Tottenham Hotspur will not make a decision on the future of Bayern Munich loanee João Palhinha until after the season per news from Sky Germany journalist Florian

🚨⚪️ Tottenham Hotspur have a clear internal plan at the moment to only decide on João #Palhinha’s future after the end of the season.
THFC have an option to buy in summer, set at €25m guaranteed. With potential add-ons through bonuses, the option can rise to up to €30m.
Tottenham Hotspur opting to exercise its option to buy Palhinha would be the ideal scenario for Bayern Munich. Palhinha has been solid this season for Tottenham, but not spectacular. A return to Bayern Munich likely would not work out for the Portuguese midfielder and the market might not exactly be briming with willing suitors in the summer of 2026.
Palhinha has not been able to break through at Bayern Munich, that likely will not change if he has to return in the summer.
