The Washington Commanders enter their season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles with several players dealing with injuries from the preseason. There were eight players on the first injury report of the season.
The Commanders had three players that were limited today. OLBs Odafe Oweh (calf) and K’Lavon Chaisson (knee) have been sidelined due to their injuries for most of the preseason. Chaisson returned to practice last week and Oweh is working his way back this week. Bill Croskey-Merritt has been dinged
up for most of camp and was limited today with a hamstring injury.
Five Commanders players were listed on today’s injury report, but were full participants. Projected starting center Nick Allegretti is back at practice after missing most of training camp with a strained calf. Marcus Mariota (knee), Jordan Magee (chest), and Ben Sinnott (oblique) are still listed with injuries from camp. DE Charles Omenihu is now listed with a wrist injury.
