We are right around ninety minutes from kickoff at Soldier Field between the Chicago Bears and your Minnesota Vikings for their Week 2 matchup, and we have gotten the inactive lists for both sides. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out.
Minnesota Vikings
- WR Jauan Jennings
- QB Kyler Murray
- C Nick Samac
- OT Caleb Tiernan
- S Jakobe Thomas
- CB Zemaiah Vaughn
- DL Elijah Williams
No big surprises on the inactive lists for the Vikings in this one. Again, they’re going with just two quarterbacks in Murray’s absence. Murray does not carry the “emergency QB” designation in this one as he has not cleared concussion protocol, so he’s
not eligible to play in this one at all. Brian O’Neill, who had been listed as questionable going into today’s game, is active and will start at right tackle.
Chicago Bears
- QB Case Keenum
- DL Jamree Kromah
- DL Jayden Loving
- OL Jordan McFadden
- OL Ozzy Trapillo
None of the Bears’ players carried an injury designation coming into today’s game, so it’s hard to say if there are any surprises on their injury list. It looks like all systems go for the Bears on the injury front.
Those are your inactive lists for today’s game, folks. Don’t forget, we’ll have the Open Thread for today’s game hitting the site thirty minutes before kickoff at 11:30 AM Central Time, and you can join us either here on your favorite web browser or on the new SB Nation app. We hope to see you there!
