It’s time to get to today’s rumor talk.
Top rumor of the day: New Day in AEW
This is going to come as a surprise to absolutely no one but the expectation is The New Day, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods, will be signing with AEW just as soon as they are able to do so.
This according to Fightful Select, who also note that there is an overwhelming level of support for bringing them in within the company. Everyone, it seems, wants the duo to go All Elite.
“Several major names” inside AEW have already been pushing for it, they also said.
The New
Day are still on non-compete clauses, so it will be a couple months just yet before we see exactly where they end up. They’ve started announcing convention appearances, and more are expected in the coming days.
But it seems, at least, we know what the next move will be.
