The week goes on, as do the rumors.
Lead Rumor: Bayley’s status
We still don’t know what the future holds for Bayley but speculation is ramping up that it’s looking more and more likely she’s going to be sticking around WWE.
She was mentioned multiple times on Monday Night Raw last week, then mentioned on television again this week, and is actively working social media angles with the likes of Blake Monroe. Dave Meltzer speculated in The Daily Update that “it would certainly seem like Bayley is not leaving WWE.”
PW Insider, meanwhile,
brings word she was backstage at TNA’s Lockdown event. She was apparently there to support Elayna Black.
Again, we can’t say for sure what her status is yet but signs are pointing to what was always likely all along and that’s her staying with the company she’s spent the majority of her career with.
Other rumors floating around
- According to PW Insider, Drew McIntyre is back in the United States and has wrapped up his outside commitments. However, WWE has yet to figure out how they want to bring him back to television.
- WrestleVotes recently said they would “push back” on any talk of Netflix not being happy with its partnership with WWE, saying they haven’t heard anything like that.
- They also say a trios match pitting Fatal Influence vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley has been discussed for Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta.
- That show, they say, is “being treated as a PLE-lite.”
