What is the story about?
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026.
- Johnny Walker vs. Waldo-Cortes Acosta headlines are our next APEX card: This is a pretty fun match-up. Yeah, it sucks that this is what passes for a main event nowadays, but I’m interested in seeing how far Walker can go at heavyweight.
- Jake Paul announced he’s fighting on Christmas Eve: Way to blow up our holiday plans, dude.
- Joselyne Edwards might be fighting for a UFC title: She’s backing up Harrison vs. Nunes. This speaks volume about the state of women’s MMA.
Insomnia
Pimblett is taking credit for Topuria’s rise. Also, who in 2026 is watching/listening to Jeremy Piven?
Never eat your feelings.
Awkward.
Dober tells an old war story.
She might be special.
Slips, rips, and KO clips
I gotta infect another MMA Mania staple with my sumo fandom. Kyushu basho starts next week!
Moicano was money on this night.
He didn’t know the fight had even started.
Random Land
It’s going to be the end of an era for NBA fans.
