Happy Monday Husky fans. The Huskies got a massive win today on the recruiting trail when 3 star offensive lineman Reis Russell from Valor Christian HS, CO committed to UW. The Huskies were able to hold off USC, Miami, Oregon and Georgia to land Russell. UW has been after Russell for a while and see him as a valuable center for the program for the future. Listed at 6’3” and around 290 pounds Russell has the talent to come in and play early for the Huskies (they lose starting center Landen Hatchett
after this season). Despite being ranked as the 54th best interior offensive lineman in the country Russell was highly coveted by most major programs (he even visited UGA recently for an official visit).
Husky fans help me in welcoming Reis to Montlake and enjoy some of his film here. Russell is now the 13th commit in the 2027 class.
