What a start to the western road trip for the Pittsburgh Penguins who put up a half dozen goals on the Seattle Kraken for a 6-3 victory on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the Emerald City. The Penguins jumped out to an 2-0 lead less than eight minutes into the game but the Kraken battled back and were able to tie it in the second period. That tie lasted less than a minute as the Penguins posted a quick response to jump back in front then held on from there for the win and to extend their points streak
to four straight. [Pensburgh]
Next up for the Penguins, they head across the border into Canada for the first of a back-to-back set against the Alberta teams with the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night.
