Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Bears fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
According to most metrics, the 2025 Chicago Bears had a top-10 offense, which is the norm for head coach Ben Johnson, but not what Chicago fans are used to. Johnson’s offenses with the Detroit Lions got better every year he was the play-caller, and in just one year in the Navy and Orange,
his offense racked up 1,462 more yards than it did in 2024.
That 2024 offseason had an exciting start with the expected pick of Caleb Williams on the horizon, a new offense being brought in, the trade for Keenen Allen, followed by Rome Odunze being drafted, to both go along with DJ Moore.
The race to 1,000 receiving yards was on!
But enough with the past, let’s look at the future.
The 2026 version of the Bears’ offense should see an uptick in efficiency due to familiarity, but who do you predict will lead the team in receptions?
Will it be last year’s leading receiver, tight end Colston Loveland, who caught 58 balls as a rookie?
Will it be fellow 2025 draft pick Luther Burden III, who had 47 catches, but will move up the depth chart now that DJ Moore was traded?
Will it be Odunze, who had a down 2025 while battling through a foot injury, but racked up 54 catches as a rookie as the third option in the 2024 offense?
Or will another pass cacher emerge as Caleb’s number one target?
Vote in our Reacts poll and we’ll share the results in a few days.
