A long eight months has led to this. The 2026 Falcons have a new coaching staff, front office, and Matt Ryan as the new football overlord, plus a ton of additions via free agency, the draft, and undrafted free agent signings. This was always going to be an interesting and impactful cutdown process, and sure enough, it was.
This roster features surprises that are likely to be balanced out in the days ahead, as Atlanta kept a ton of offensive linemen and defensive backs to go with four quarterbacks,
but held on to only two running backs, a surprisingly skimpy number of outside linebackers, and only three tight ends.
Here’s the full, initial 53 man roster. It will change often in the days and weeks ahead, but here it is in all its glory.
