That price is what has made the Gunners look for alternatives, and Koundé fits the profile Arsenal are looking for as a defender that can operate as a center-back or full-back.
Barça have options in the full-back position with Eric Garcia becoming a key part of the defense, Alejandro Balde still a key piece, Xavi Espart emerging, and João Cancelo said to be on the verge of returning on a permanent transfer.
