Former Bayern Munich youth product, Taylor Booth, is rumored to be returning to Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer. According to Tom Bogert of The Athletic, RSL has agreed to a loan deal with FC Twente of the Dutch Eredivisie which would also includes an option to buy. Not only would Booth be returning to his native Utah, he would also join his little brother, Zach — who is also on loan from Dutch side, Excelsior.
Booth joined the Bayern Academy from the RSL Academy in 2019 and was on the Bayern II
team that won the 3. Liga title that next season. In all, he had 52 appearances in a Bayern shirt at the various levels, including one appearance for the first team in a DFB-Pokal match.
Booth also split his tenure at Bayern with a half-season loan spell in Austria with SKN St Pölten. Booth left Bayern in the summer of 2022 and signed a deal with FC Utrecht of the Eredivisie. In 2025, he signed with FC Twente on a free transfer.
