Last week, the Cleveland Browns lost positioning in the 2026 NFL draft order despite being on a bye week. As we noted after the pathetic performance by the Browns in Week 10, the NFL draft is the only
place for hope for Cleveland fans heading into Week 11. Prior to the Browns versus the New York Jets, data showed that the loser of the matchup would have a huge advantage in the fight for the top overall selection in the upcoming NFL draft .
Cleveland is that team, now, especially as big underdogs going into a home matchup with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. There are still a lot of teams that could be considered on “tank watch” for the season, but following Week 10’s results, the Browns are currently slotted as the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft order.
The selection they received from the Jacksonville Jaguars, from the Travis Hunter trade, is still 19th in the order, but the Jaguars seem to be falling apart a bit.
Here is the current order, per Tankathon:
2026 NFL draft order – Top 20 heading into Week 11
- Tennessee Titans: 1-8
- New Orleans Saints: 2-8
- New York Giants: 2-8
- Cleveland Browns: 2-7 (SOS tiebreaker: .469)
- New York Jets: 2-7 (.509)
- Las Vegas Raiders: 2-7
- Miami Dolphins: 3-7
- Washington Commanders: 3-6
- Cincinnati Bengals: 3-6
- Atlanta Falcons: 3-6 (Goes to Los Angeles Rams)
- Arizona Cardinals: 3-6
- Dallas Cowboys: 3-5-1
- Baltimore Ravens: 4-5
- Minnesota Vikings: 4-5
- Houston Texans: 4-5
- Carolina Panthers: 5-5
- Kansas City Chiefs: 5-4
- San Francisco 49ers: 6-4
- Jacksonville Jaguars: 5-4 (Goes to the Browns)
- Pittsburgh Steelers: 5-4
Cleveland has a tough game in Week 11 before two easier matchups after that. Jacksonville has the Cardinals, Jets and Colts (twice) left on its schedule, which could make its path to the NFL playoffs much easier.
What spot do you think the Browns will be selecting when the 2026 NFL draft rolls around in April?
