Welcome to our drawing board, where our resident cartoonist, Finn (@Finn_Madridista), will sling out some dope and exclusive art for you — usually on the back of a big moment that’s captured our attention
in the Real Madrid world. Here’s Finn’s latest drawing, and if you ever want to look back at Finn’s previous (and amazing) work, just check out our Drawing Board page.
A hooded figure labeled “British Media” is seen whispering into the ear of England manager Thomas Tuchel, feeding him exaggerated narratives and baseless drama.
The message is crystal clear: one of the best players in the world, shining at the highest level, has become the target of contrived stories and unnecessary controversy — stemming from pure hate.
Ian Wright’s Words Hit the Heart of the Piece
Finn’s drawing aligns powerfully with Ian Wright’s recent comments about the media’s obsession with fabricating “beef” where none exists. Wright said:
“They need to create this kind of beef because there’s nothing else to talk about till the World Cup so it’s gonna be this all the way to the World Cup. They hate that they can’t get to him. They hate that they can’t negatively influence his club career like they have done to so many before him. A blessed young man with talent and love in abundance.”
