Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday and forward Jerami Grant will continue to be out of the lineup versus the Utah Jazz on Monday night as they continue to recover from injuries, the organization
announced on Sunday.
Blazers center Robert Williams III is questionable to play in the matchup due to left knee management. Unsurprisingly, Blazers guards Scoot Henderson, Blake Wesley, Matisse Thybulle and Damian Lillard are also all out for the game.
Here’s the full report:
INJURY REPORT 1/5 vs. UTA:
OUT
Jerami Grant (L Achilles Tendonitis)
Scoot Henderson (L Hamstring)
Jrue Holiday (R Calf Strain)
Damian Lillard (L Achilles Tendon)
Matisse Thybulle (R Knee Tendinopathy)
Blake Wesley (R Foot Fract.)
QUESTIONABLE
Robert Williams III (L Knee Mngmt)
Holiday has missed 24 consecutive games due to a right calf strain, while Grant has missed nine straight games due to left Achilles tendonitis.
Williams missed Portland’s 1115-110 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday due to left knee injury management. That absence was expected since it was the second night of a back-to-back, and he had played the night before. Williams hasn’t suited up for both games in a back-to-back all season in a precautionary effort to keep the oft-injured big man healthy.
On Jan. 1, the Blazers released an official update on the injury statuses of Grant, Holiday, Henderson and Thybulle.
The Blazers tip off against the Jazz at the Moda Center on Monday at 7 p.m. Pacific.
