Chiefs fans’ confidence
Apparently, fans of the Kansas City Chiefs needed the bye week as much as the team. The confidence of fans was 21% lower in last week’s polling that followed the 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Whether it was results around the NFL or the news that left tackle Josh Simmons is back with the team, Kansas City fans are trending towards strong belief in the Chiefs’ direction once again.
How to handle left tackle
Speaking of Simmons, polled Chiefs’ fans think the rookie should step right back into the starting role ahead of a division battle with the Denver Broncos in Week 11. Simmons missed four consecutive starts before the bye week.
Jaylon Moore’s role
Veteran offensive tackle Jaylon Moore started in Simmons’s place, and the majority of Chiefs’ fans believe he should continue to focus on being the understudy at left tackle. However, over one third of polled fans think Moore should replace starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor moving forward.
The NFL’s contenders
Polling NFL fans nationwide on what teams are actual contenders this season, the results had the Chiefs receiving the third-most votes behind the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots.
The NFL’s pretenders
NFL fans were also polled to expose the pretenders this season. The teams receiving the most votes were two AFC franchises firmly in the playoff race alongside Kansas City: the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
