Two games in for the Buffalo Bills, and they’re reasonably healthy as a team but not without a few dings on their roster. Now as they prepare to take on the Los Angeles Chargers at home in Week 3, all eyes will be on two veterans on each side of the ball who did not play in Week 2 against the Lions.
Read on below for the full rundown of the first injury report of the week for both teams.

What we’re watching
Longer list than many many were expecting, with Coleman and Chubb as the surprising entrants to the first injury report of the week for the Bills. Coleman is absolutely worth monitoring because he didn’t practice at all, and we all know Moore may not be 100% — or even go — for this Week 3 contest.
Johnson seems well on his way to being inserted into the gameday roster after well over a month layoff from the ankle injury he suffered in early August.

What we’re watching
This is quite the extensive injury list entering Week 3 of the regular season for the Chargers. Earlier this week, we learned Kolar had surgery on his forearm but won’t be placed on IR like fellow tight end David Njoku.
On Monday, Jim Harbaugh referenced that Awosika — former University at Buffalo blocker — and Tomlinson will “miss time,” so I think we can all but officially rule them out for this contest. Injuries to Strange and Pipkins — both guards on Los Angeles’ front — are worth monitoring. As is the groin injury for Slater, the club’s star left tackle.
Thompson, the fastest player at the 2026 NFL Combine, is also worth keeping an eye on too, although he only has one catch for 13 yards through two games. He has 4.26 speed.
This is a pretty banged up 0-2 club right now. We’ll see how the Chargers injury report changes for the remainder of the week before Sunday’s contest.
