On tonight’s (Sept. 16) episode of Dynamite, AEW announced the upcoming plan for World Trios Champions Kofi, Swerve Strickland, and Austin Creed.
Swerve and the New Level will defend their belts on next week’s (Sept. 23) three-hour episode of Dynamite against Ricochet’s The Demand faction. The team that walks out with the gold will then defend the championship that Saturday night (Sept. 26) at the All Out pay-per-view against former champs Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King.
Got it? Good.
New Level
and Swerve came out to the ring on Dynamite to respond to the news, but they were jumped during their entrance by Ricochet’s crew. Kofi and Creed got their asses kicked and were laid out for the first time since debuting in AEW last month.
Ricochet’s crew stood tall holding the trios titles over Swerve and New Level’s bodies before leaving the ring. I hope the heels know how reverse momentum theory works.
Do you think The Demand have any chance in hell to dethrone Swerve and New Level next week on Dynamite and walk into All Out as the new trios champions? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
