Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has now been in charge for 100 games and the results are, well, pretty outstanding. X account @iMiaSanMia compiled the following stats on Kompany’s first 100 games at the helm in Bavaria:
Vincent Kompany has now completed 100 games in charge at FC Bayern
100 games
76 wins
13 draws
11 defeats
302 goals scored
101 goals conceded
2.41 ppg
42 players used
After Tuesday’s 2-1 victory in the Champions League, Kompany has the squad in a great position to make it to the Champions League.
This would be a landmark moment for the boss, but the crazy thing is that there would still be two more difficult phases to pass through to achieve the ultimate goal in this competition.
Such is life in this season’s UCL.
Kompany’s success, though, is tied to more than just winning the Champions League. The manager has established a strong relationship with the squad and built his version of Bayern Munich on trust, communication, and a sense of oneness.
Needless to say, it would be hard to think anyone would say anything other than the head coach is doing a fine job across all competitions.
