Keep Your Foot on the Gas
LSU comes into this contest after big wins over Texas A&M and McNeese where the offense set records last week. During the next three game stretch that starts tonight against Kentucky, the Tigers
have to keep the offense rolling and limit the time the defense spends on the field. The healthier and more rested the defense is, the better they will play, especially on the road.
Limit Injuries
Obviously, injuries have been a big problem for the Tigers this season. Last week, they made it out healthy. They will need to do the same tonight. Keep the subs rotating and make sure even guys that have nagging issues are getting treatment when they can. The longer the Tigers can stay injury free, the better.
SEC Battle on the Road
The Tigers are playing just their second road of the season tonight and it’s another SEC battle. The first time was the 32-24 loss at Ole Miss and LSU learned a lot about themselves that night. Hopefully they can apply some of those lessons learned tonight and going forward.
