One of the top training camp standouts so far has been Zachariah Branch. The rookie wide receiver is turning heads with his explosiveness, route-running, and hands. There was genuine excitement about the Falcons selecting him in the third round. Seeing clips of him making outstanding contested grabs will only further raise expectations
within an offense filled of playmakers.
Given the uncertainty at the quarterback position and how Branch will fare against press coverage for a player of his size, it could take time for the production to become consistent. Wide receiver is one of the more difficult positions for rookies to acclimate to in the NFL. That won’t stop fans from discussing how big an impact the 2023 First-Team All-American could immediately have.
