What is the story about?
It’s the first game thread of the year. Are you ready??? Spring Training is here!
On one hand, it’s fun to see players who don’t usually start get chances to mingle with the stars and starters, and after months of nothing it is wonderful to see baseball back. On the other hand, everyone is working on stuff at their own pace and it is absolutely a “process more than results” set of games, and the level of competition isn’t really there like it is in the regular season.
On the other, other hand, these
are great games to see in person. I haven’t been to Spring Training, but it’s on my list of things to do. Have you been to Spring Training? What was your experience? Let me know as we follow along with this particular contest against the Reds.
