Zoey Serrano made the right call to recruit Shayna Baszler as her tag team partner at Bound For Glory (Oct. 11, 2026). That paid off in gold as the duo won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship from Allie & Kiera Hogan. Now, Baszler and Serrano need a new team name. Introducing the Apex.
Backstage after the victory, TNA posted a short promo from Baszler and Serrano. The tag titles are not the apex. They are the Apex. And if there is any doubt about that moniker as the new team name, TNA made it clear
by capitalizing Apex in the tweet.
Baszler added more context in a caption for the team photo. “Apex. Everything we touch is the best it’s ever been.”
TNA will need to patch together some teams in the women’s tag division to challenge Apex. There are only two official teams right now with Allie & Hogan as babyfaces and the Elegance Brand as heels.
Do you like the name Apex for the Baszler & Serrano tag team? Is it better than Pure Collective Fusion?
