The Seattle Seahawks (4-3) are in the middle of a three-game home stand, having just dispatched the Kansas City Chiefs last week. It won’t get any easier for the Seahawks defense, as Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears (5-2) are coming to town for a fascinating stylistic clash.
Mike Macdonald vs. Ben Johnson, ‘The Dark Side’ vs. Caleb Williams, the Seahawks secondary against the likes of Luther Burden II and Rome Odunze, Sam Darnold versus Dennis Allen’s aggressive blitzing defense, Jaxon Smith-Njigba
against a struggling Bears secondary, there are so many intriguing matchups. There will also be intriguing debuts on both teams, as Quenton Nelson is part of the Seahawks offensive line, while the Bears landed star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Seattle is far more banged up than Chicago, with Rashid Shaheed and Charles Cross both out, while Uchenna Nwosu is unlikely to play. The ‘Hawks will, however, have Zach Charbonnet set for his season debut and Jadarian Price available for the first time in a month. Can they provide an extra spark in the run game? We know the Bears won’t have Kyle Monangai, who’s half of the dynamic and physical duo of himself and D’Andre Swift, while tight end Cole Kmet’s season is over after a bad knee injury.
This is going to be a fun one! Seattle needs to win to stay in contact with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West, while the Bears can pull within a half-game of the Minnesota Vikings in a highly competitive NFC North.
It’s the Seahawks and Bears in primetime again, but this time in Seattle and probably not an unwatchable 6-3 slog! Here’s all the info you need on how to watch the Seahawks on MNF, including TV schedule, kickoff time, live stream info, and game announcers.
