It appears as though we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to find out the availability of two key Volunteers for Tennessee’s SEC showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.
The SEC released the teams’ first availability report on Wednesday night, and Tennessee OT David Sanders, Jr. and DL Jaxson Moi both appeared on the report as questionable.

Tennessee will be without both starting cornerbacks Rickey Gibson III and Jermod McCoy, as expected.
Moi suffered an upper body injury during the Vols’
45-26 win over Syracuse. Heupel said during ETSU week that he hoped to get him back soon. Sanders, Jr.‘s absence was a bit more out of left field coming into the opener against Syracuse, and his status is a key one, although the Vols have managed to make do just fine with their reshaped offensive line with Sanders, Jr. on the sideline.
Speaking of offensive linemen, the news is mixed, but still encouraging for Georgia, as one of their two key offensive linemen dealing with injuries – right tackle Earnest Greene III – has been listed as probable, meaning it’s likely Tennessee’s defense will have to deal with him on Saturday afternoon. The status of the other lineman, right guard Juan Gaston, will be better determined as the week goes along, same for UT’s Moi and Sanders, Jr.
The Vols and Bulldogs will meet on Saturday at 3:30 pm ET inside Neyland Stadium with the game being broadcast on ABC.
