Whenever Bayern Munich is targeting someone, Liverpool is somehow always similarly interested in said player. There is a twist this time, as said interesting player plays for the youth teams at Liverpool and is set to leave, with Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, and Manchester United all put on alert:
Bayern have sent scouts multiple times to watch Liverpool and England youth striker Vincent Joseph (16). The player looks set to leave as he is left off Liverpool’s announcement of scholars. Manchester United hold a strong interest, while Dortmund have also been scouting him.
Joseph has so far logged three goals in two games inside only 59 minutes played across both. If you’ve been here long enough then you might remember Chido Obi-Martin, the former Arsenal youngster who scores goals for fun. Bayern were at one point looking good to sign him, but he ended up at Man United instead where he is currently stagnating.
The 16-year-old Joseph also has Germany listed as his nationality alongside England; he also has a younger brother named Valentin. So, looking at what happened to Obi and the fact that a German powerhouse is looking at him, perhaps Bayern has an advantage.
