In Week 4, Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker didn’t set a season-high in rushing yards, but it was arguably his best game with the Chiefs, scoring two touchdowns and totaling 191 yards from scrimmage against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kenneth Walker’s big week vs. Raiders helps out Kansas City charity | KCTV5
On Wednesday, the NFL announced that Walker’s 177 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 4 helped him be named one of two FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. It’s the third time the 25-year-old has received the honor.
In doing so, Walker’s performance leads to a $2,000 donation to Kansas City’s Harvesters — The Community Food Network, which is part of Feeding America’s network of food banks.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was prepared for the Raiders’ aggressiveness, and it changed the game in Week 4 | A to Z Sports
Under pressure, Mahomes completed just 2/10 passes for 96 yds while being sacked twice, compared to 13/20 for 129 yards and both touchdowns from a clean pocket. Sure, those numbers aren’t great, but guess what he did when the moment was the biggest against the blitz under pressure? Two completions for 96 yards is as impressive as it gets. With the stakes, at that point of the game, against that team, yeah, Mahomes was ready for it.
Chiefs Rookie and Sophomore Power Rankings: Assessing the Landscape at Bye Week | Sports Illustrated
This is where things get a little interesting. Linebacker Jeffrey Bassa isn’t in the huddle much on defense, but could forcing a fumble on special teams be the launching pad he needs for an increased overall role? Undrafted free agent Xavier Nwankpa helped seal the deal against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 by picking off a pass on his only defensive snap. It doesn’t get much more efficient than that.
2026 NFL Trade Block Big Board Entering Week 5 | Bleacher Report
Jerry Jeudy, WR, Cleveland Browns
Jeudy is being “squeezed out” of the offense by promising rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, who have quickly emerged as go-to targets. While Jeudy did play a role in Cleveland’s latest win, he’s caught just five of eight targets for 62 yards on the season.
A 1,200-yard receiver and a Pro Bowler in 2024, Jeudy should interest receiver-needy teams, as should his 2026 base salary of $1.5 million.

5 Chiefs Who Could Be Primed to Breakout After Bye Week | Heavy Sports
WR Jalen Royals
When Rice went down with a hamstring injury in Week 4, it was Royals who took his place. Royals recorded 38 snaps during Kansas City’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the second-most of his young career.
Royals may not have the route running or production volume upside of Cyrus Allen, but the Chiefs definitely like him as a run blocker. The potential of Tyreek Hill returning could limit Royals, but it could also open him up as an under-the-radar receiving option.

Lane Johnson announces retirement from Eagles, citing need to focus on mental health | The Athletic
Johnson announced his intentions to retire after this season during training camp. He said his family had become more of a priority in his life than football. He shared the decision with reporters after returning from a four-day absence from practice. He said his mother was “struggling with some health stuff.” He mentioned his father within the context of his familial considerations. He also said his oldest child, Davis, was soon turning 13.
“As you get older, things change in your life — priorities,” Johnson said then. “Your children get older, parents get older. It just puts things into perspective.”
Eagles trade Cam Jurgens, 2027 seventh-round pick to Ravens for ’27 fifth-rounder, ’28 second-rounder | NFL.com
Despite an ideal fit and time to acclimate, Jurgens’ promise never quite matched his production. He started strong, ranking in the upper half among his counterparts in 2024, per Pro Football Focus, and signed a four-year, $68 million extension in 2025, but battled health challenges that required surgery that offseason.
In 2026, an injury to guard Landon Dickerson prompted coach Nick Sirianni to slide Jurgens over to replace Dickerson, producing nightmarish results that included a second-to-last PFF grade through four weeks.
Broncos’ Payton: Concerned about details, not playcalling | ESPN
“I think our focus needs to be more on the specific and the detail of each play regardless [of who’s calling the plays],” Payton said. “I think Davis is very fast, very quick and understands what we’re doing. I think that the most important job I have is really evaluating the whys. I think collectively, we all, after a game, and after a four-game sample size, certainly this isn’t championship football, what we see. How quickly can we correct those things?”

Chiefs punter Matt Araiza named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Through four games, Araiza leads all NFL punters in yards per punt (52.3) and has allowed the seventh-fewest return yards (40). He also has the highest rate of punts that land inside the 20-yard line (75%); 9 of his 12 punts have pinned the opponent more than 80 yards away from the end zone.
Four punters have launched a longer punt than Araiza this year, but the long of 69 yards is still a top-5 mark.
