The Miami Dolphins head into Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season coming off a miserable loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Everything fell apart for Miami the moment they stepped on the field against the Colts, and now they will be looking to prove they are not that team as they host the New England Patriots. This week has been a rough one for fans who are looking for anything positive about the club.
Ahead of Week 1, our SB Nation Reacts fan confidence survey found 45 percent of Dolphins fans had positive
feelings about the direction of the team – leaving a majority who were not agreeing with what was happening in Miami. Heading into Week 2, 45 percent positive feels like a level Miami might not see again.

Just five percent of the fans think the team is headed in the right direction. The game against the Colts, where the Dolphins did not even appear to have shown up, demolished the sense of hope around Miami. No longer is this team a dark horse for a long playoff run. The feeling about the team is now focused on just not being an embarassment.
Miami enters Week 2 as the lowest team in terms of fan confidence. The second-lowest rating is the New York Giants at 27 percent.
What will Sunday bring? Will a win over the Patriots rebound Dolphins fans’ confidence in the team? Will a loss drop it below five percent?
