Live from Delaware, it’s Saturday Night! I, NAS204PSU, am here at BTSC to bring you this Saturday Night Open Thread (aka SNOT).
It’s Cherry Blossom season! I’ll skip over the flowery language, but it’s time for some beautiful “snow” to fall. It’s also a slow spot in the offseason… free agents have already fallen where they may, but the draft is still weeks away.
This 5 pack of questions is here to get the conversation going, so let us know what you’re eating/drinking!
1. Mike Tomlin signed with a media
agents, promoting speculation that he will move into broadcasting. Let’s pretend he pivots to commercials/endorsements instead. Give me your funniest thing Tomlin could promote or idea for a commercial. 2. Aaron Rodgers “will he / won’t he” return speculation continues. When all is said and done, do you think that Aaron’s retirement “waffling” could ever eclipse Brett Favre’s? 3.The Rooney Rule is being challenged by Florida’s AG (see DaveInBalt’s Feed post for some legalese discussion). As an engineer, they usually only name something after you when you really botched the job. Have you ever had something (even just an inside joke with family/friends) named after you? 4. Before eradicating humanity, $20,000 human robots will be doing our chores.Do you think humanoid robots in your home will be fact or fiction?
5. For Cherry Blossoms, DC is a mecca on the east coast, but Philly has a small festival this weekend. Are you planning to go see Cherry Blossoms somewhere?
