The San Francisco Giants welcome the Colorado Rockies to Oracle Park tonight to begin their final series of the year.
Taking the mound for the Giants will be right-hander Trevor McDonald, who enters tonight’s game with a 3.38 ERA, 2.89 FIP, with four strikeouts to two walks in eight innings pitched. His last (and only) start was in the Giants’ 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, in which he allowed one run on six hits with three strikeouts in six innings.
For the Rockies, it’s righty Germán
Márquez, who makes his 26th start. He has a dismal 3-15 record, with a 6.49 ERA, a 5.26 FIP, and 82 strikeouts against 45 walks in 122 innings. He gave up just two runs in seven innings against the Los Angeles Angels his last time out.
