Good morning, baseball fans!
The 2026 MLB Playoffs continue today, and it looks like my complaining from yesterday paid off, because we’ve finally got a Game 5! The American League Division Series between the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Guardians will conclude tonight, one way or another.
As of the time this is being written, only the White Sox have announced a starting pitcher, which will be right-hander Sean Burke.
Tonight’s game starts at 5:00 p.m. and will air on TBS/HBO Max, with national
radio coverage available on ESPN Radio.
Personally, I think I’m rooting for the White Sox still, although it was brought to my attention that Cleveland hasn’t won a World Series since 1948. So I don’t think I’ll be unhappy with either result, since I don’t actually have a vested interest in either team.
Who are you rooting for today?
