Because of the way Brie Bella was protecting and holding her right shoulder throughout her trios match with sister Nikki and recent tag partner Paige at SummerSlam earlier tonight (Aug. 1) — even during the Twins post-match heel turn, speculation was running rampant online about her being injured.
Thought it’s amazingly bad luck — given that Nikki just returned from injury, and the Bellas seemed poised to finally get their reunion run together — that does seem to be the case. On the Post Show, Triple
H confirmed that Brie is hurt. He couldn’t say for sure how badly as she’s currently at the hospital getting scans, but he shared that it “seems pretty bad”.
As you can read and see in this Feed post I did before double-checking the Post Show, speculation’s been that Brie was hurt on a Jacy Jayne cannonball spot outside during her team’s loss to Fatal Influence in Minneapolis Saturday night.
Here’s hoping it’s not as bad as Trips thinks it is. Either way, it looks like Nikki’s gonna be a solo villainess… or need a partner.
