Harry Kane is irreplaceable — everyone knows this.
Whether it is for Bayern Munich or for England, Kane’s absences leaves a massive void in his teams.
When asked about England’s struggles without its star striker, Three Lions head coach Thomas Tuchel got a little defensive and compared Kane to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Well, why would Argentina not rely on (Lionel) Messi or Portugal not rely on Cristiano Ronaldo? This is totally normal. In the absence of Harry Kane, we don’t have the same
threat. Bayern Munich in the absence of Harry Kane do not have the same threat. No team in the world has the same threat,” Tuchel said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
England’s 1-1 draw with Uruguay and 1-0 loss to Japan highlight the importance of Kane. Surely, Tuchel was already a little irritated after those performances, so a question regarding Kane’s importance likely sparked his ire a bit.
Either way, Kane is just not someone any team could easily replace. Hopefully, Bayern Munich will not have to test this out against Real Madrid.
