The Brotherhood Podcast has emerged as one of our favorite podcasts, largely because it’s just Duke players interviewing Duke players, although coaches do show up periodically.
For Tuesday, we get freshman Bryson Howard, Deron Rippey, and Cameron Williams.
We haven’t had a chance to fully listen yet, but Rippey is the host today. Here’s a brief excerpt:
Rippey: “Now that we’re here, it’s really just time to put in the work and just strive to reach that goal that everybody think we can reach. What is
it like being here with the former players and, you know, just like all the familiar faces you’ve watched on TV?”
Williams: “It’s good, you know, just like learning different things from like Cayden, even Jack Scott, you know, they’re just giving us a lot of tips and pointers and like what to do. And I think it’s really helping my game overall, just on the court and off the court as well.
Howard: “It’s crazy because it’s like watching them on TV before we even got here, like just watching them on TV and then, you know, just finally get to see them in person, you know, they’re just giving tips, you know, just giving us, well, just giving us knowledge, you know, what’s it do in the game of basketball. It’s great.”
Rippey: “Yeah, it’s crazy. Like Grayson Allen, Quinn Cook, like these are like all Duke guards that I feel like I’ve watched for like years, like growing up. So just being able to get some advice for them and get some knowledge, it’s just great.”
