Looking at the Falcons first, we received some positive updates as left tackle Jake Matthews was updated to a full participant on Friday. Matthews holds the current streak among active players with 200 consecutive games started, and it was unclear if his recent groin injury would put that streak in jeopardy. He’s designated as questionable to play, but I would expect to see him out there.
Additionally, edge rusher Za’Darius Smith who left the Saints game with a concussion was able to practice limitedly for the first time this week. Smith remains in concussion protocol so his availability may come down to the wire.
The Ravens have not released their injury report for Friday yet, so this section will be update. But we did learn that quarterback Lamar Jackson will NOT play against the Falcons, as he continues recovering from an ankle injury. Tyler Huntley will start in his place.
