Good morning, Purple Row!
While much of MLB looks to the postseason with games starting today, the Colorado Rockies are turning to their rebuild, a point Paul DePodesta stressed in a recent conversation (linked below) with MLB.com’s Thomas Harding.
“After living through this for a year, we have a very good direction on what it is we feel we need,” DePodesta said. “So we’ll certainly be ready to act early this offseason if need be.”
For teams not playing in the postseason, this week will make debriefing
sessions with media and the beginning of personnel changes. DePodesta is expected to speak with media within the week, so stay tuned for that.
