Nikki and Brie Bella are celebrating their 42nd birthday this week, which means it’s time to run down a list of wishes they hope will come true before they turn 43 years old in November 2026. That’s what
the Bella Twins did on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show.
After going through a few non-wrestling wishes such as collaborating with Martha Stewart, they got to the juicy part that will have wrestling fans’ eyes and ears perk up. Here is their exchange about Brie’s possible return to the ring some time during the next 12 months.
Brie: “I think there is definitely a last run in me. I’m at the age, and I’m strong, and I think it’s because I’m working out so hard, and I’m feeling good. There is for sure a last run in me. But I’m like, wherever it may take me, wherever it may be. I hope it’s with you. Wherever that is at, who knows. Whether it’s for one night, or 200 nights, we’ll see. So, I feel like those are fun birthday wishes to see if any of that transpires to 43.”
Nikki: “When I blow out my candle tomorrow, I will wish…that your girl becomes the women’s world champion.”
Brie: “I hope so.”
Nikki: “One more championship.”
Brie: “If we could have a twin wish, we’ll wish that for you, and then…”
Nikki: “Tag titles for both [of us].”
Brie: “There you go.”
Nikki: “I like it.”
Brie: “I love that!”
Nikki has already been working a comeback run in WWE this year than began in February at Royal Rumble, but it’s as if Brie never got a phone call from WWE.
Based on Brie’s stated birthday wish, it sounds like her preference is to join Nikki in WWE for a women’s tag team championship run. However, Brie’s husband is Bryan Danielson, who works for AEW. It doesn’t take a genius to see that Brie’s openness to going “wherever it may be” could indicate a potential comeback run in AEW. That’s “where the best wrestle,” after all, so I assume the WWE Hall of Famer would fit right in.
Do you think any of the Bella Twins’ birthday wishes will come true during the next year? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
